Cities , which have been home to many cultures and civilizations from past to present, are undergoing a major transformation with developing technology and lifestyles. As a result of this transformation, the construction sector has a great role to play in order for cities to grow in a planned and sustainable manner. Murat Özdemir, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Siltaş Yapı , who noted that the way to carry cities to a sustainable future is through the right structuring, made the following statements within the scope of World Urbanism Day on November 8:

” For asustainable future , first of all, urban planning needs to be handled with a holistic approach. Because our cities gain identity, grow and develop with buildings rising safely. Many of the problems experienced especially in big cities are the result of uncontrolled urbanization. Therefore, construction professionals need to develop their projects in a comprehensive and detailed manner. It is very important that the projects adapt to the architectural texture of the region, respond to the needs, offer solution-oriented approaches, rise with an environmentalist approach and make the people of the region happy while making the lives of the residents easier. Environmentally friendly projects with plenty of green space, energy and water efficiency are of great importance for the sustainability of cities. We can design sustainable cities by building all our projects with this understanding.”

“Urban transformation is more than a need , it is a necessity” Emphasizing that risky and unsafe buildings should be renewed urgently with urban transformation projects without ignoring the earthquake reality, Murat Özdemir said,” Urban transformation is more than a need , it is a necessity for our country located in theearthquake zone. While transforming risky and safe buildings on the one hand, on the other hand , we can take total precautions against earthquakes by designing new projects in accordance with the Earthquake Regulation, under quality engineering service, with advanced technology materials. We can prepareour cities for the future with safe, innovative and sustainable buildings .”

” We support the sustainability ofour cities ” Stating that they proceed with a holistic perspective in every project they realize as Siltaş Yapı, Özdemir said; ” While designingour projects , we develop new concepts for the transformation of living spaces by planning every element to the finest detail. Before starting a project , we analyze the region in depth; we develop designs in accordance with the architectural texture, needs and demands of the neighborhood. We build our projects in accordance with the latest earthquake regulations , using high standards and advanced construction technologies. We support the sustainability of our cities with every project we build with our experience in the sector . “
